Often, a parent will sit in and just as frequently the child prefers to meet on their own. We try to let our patient decide, while ensuring that important information is shared with their parents.

We recommend booking a no-charge 15 minute consultation before a full session takes place. This allows the potential therapist and parents to talk and make sure that the needs of the child are kept front and centre.

NOTE: While we offer virtual appointments for children, we highly recommend that children meet in the office with their therapist.

Teen Therapy (12-18)

Working with teens is very different than with children and adults. When Health & Happiness: Counselling and Wellness first opened in 2019, teens were the main focus of our work. We have experience helping teens manage the transition from child to adult, and hope that we will be able to help your teen as well.

Adult Therapy (19+)

For adults looking for support, we offer various approaches based on your unique needs. The therapists that you see will work with you to set goals for your treatment based on what you are looking to accomplish.

Couples & Relationship Therapy

Couples therapy is a dedicated space to explore and improve your relationship with a professional therapist. Whether facing challenges like trust issues, conflicts, or a sense of disconnect, or simply looking to strengthen your bond, our approach fosters effective communication and mutual respect. Book a session today to start your journey towards a happier partnership.
